never visited a country with less preparation than Vietnam.
In 1999, I came to visit an old school buddy, turned up at the
airport and rang him for the address.
for
some reason, for most of that first week I spent in Vietnam,
I was crying inside. I don't know for what or why. It was something
beyong rational thought.
